At Healing House, we are passionate about experiencing Jesus and the healing He brings. We've all had breakthroughs, yet we still have areas of our lives that are in pain. Our purpose in prayer counseling is to create a space where Jesus can touch the hurting areas of our lives.
Jesus said, “The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, and he has anointed me to be hope for the poor, healing for the brokenhearted, and new eyes for the blind, and to preach to prisoners, 'You are set free!" - Luke 4:18

Freda Thomas - Director

For over 23 years, Freda has been in pastoral ministry with a passion for inviting Jesus into every situation. This has led to her pursuing certifications in coaching, inner healing, and fine-tuning relationship coaching especially for marriages.  

She facilitates, along with other trained prayer ministers, Healing House Prayer Counseling, to bring a place of hope and restoration to those in need. "Our goal is that every seeker experience love, feel heard, and connect to Jesus through prayer."

WHAT DOES IT COST?
Healing House is a donation based ministry. Our suggested minimum donation is $90 for an hour and a half session. Scholarships are available through Harvest Church to help those that need assistance.

ARE COUNSELORS LICENSED? 
No, this is a Christ-centered, Biblically  based ministry with prayer ministers trained through Elijah House Ministry course materials and operating under the cover of Harvest Church.

WHAT IS PRAYER COUNSELING? 
Prayer counseling is inner healing based on the Lordship of Jesus Christ and Biblical principles. Each session is an opportunity for seekers to be heard, wounds to be healed, forgiveness to be given and received, and the power of the cross to change hearts.

HOW DO YOU DO MARRIAGE COUNSELING? 
We listen to the dynamics that are causing the relationship to be dysfunctional and compare them to what the Bible says concerning marriage such as the 4 Laws of Marriage by Jimmy Evans found in Genesis 2.
